The Powerball jackpot continues to climb as there was no winner of the $1.40 Billion jackpot for the drawing held on Wednesday, September 3.
That means the next Powerball drawing on Saturday, September 6 will be worth $1.80 Billion with a cash option of $826.4 million.

There was no overall winner in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, however there were million-dollar tickets sold.
117 winners appeared to receive $50,000; third prizes belonged to the owners who marked Power Play 2X, which helped to multiply 2 times the prize value to $100,000;
In total, more than 6,328,900 tickets won cash prizes totaling $50.43 million in Wednesday’s drawing.

The top prize is the 2nd biggest Powerball jackpot and the 2nd largest in U.S. lottery history, Powerball said in a statement.If a player wins the jackpot on Saturday night, they will have the choice between an annuitized prize worth an estimated $1.80 Billion or a lump sum payment estimated at $826.4 million – both before taxes.
The jackpot rolled after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Monday night – white balls 8 – 23 – 25 – 40 – 53 and red Powerball 5.
There have been 41 consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner since its 31/05/2025 drawing. The next chance for someone to get lucky will be Saturday.
