Winner! A lucky player in UK overcame steep odds and matched all the numbers in Friday night’s drawing to win a jackpot worth €98 million, according to lottery officials.
Friday’s winning numbers were: 2, 11, 19, 30 and 49. The two lucky stars for the draw are 3 and 8.
9 tickets (1 UK, 2 France, 1 Spain, 2 Belgium, 3 Austria) matched all five numbers and a star to win the €92,865.42 prizes.
There were also 14 tickets that won €13,952.69 prizes.
All Across Europe, the EuroMillions drawing produced more than 2,371,600 winning tickets, with players winning lower-tier cash prizes worth a combined €13.91 million.

The first EuroMillions draw was held on February 7th 2004, by three organizations: France’s Française des Jeux, Loterías y Apuestas del Estado in Spain and the Camelot in the UK.
The EuroMillions draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday, with tickets priced at €2.50. You can take part online or by visiting an authorized retailer in any of the participating nations.
Players around the world can play EuroMillions Lottery online outside the Europe via lottery messenger service sites such as TheLotter with tickets cost €6.25 each.
The odds of winning any EuroMillions prize are 1 in 13. Players are asked to pick five numbers from 1-50 and two Lucky Stars from 1-12. Or you can try a Lucky Dip for randomly selected numbers. To play on a draw day, you need to buy your ticket by 7.30pm.
You have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim EuroMillions prizes in the UK. Most winners will claim within the first few days or weeks of finding out that they’ve won, but there is certainly no obligation to do so. Your claim will be valid at any time within the 180-day window.
The most important thing to do is keep your ticket safe until the claim process is underway. If you lose your ticket you may still be able to claim a prize but you must make contact with the National Lottery within 30 days. Lottery officials will then conduct rigorous security checks to validate your claim.
Now that the jackpot has been won, it will reset to its base amount of €17 million.
