Winner! A lucky player in France overcame steep odds and matched all the numbers in Tuesday night’s drawing to win a jackpot worth €250 million, according to lottery officials.
Tuesday night’s winning numbers were 24, 31, 34, 41, 43 – plus the Lucky Star numbers 6 and 8.
Along with the jackpot, 7 tickets matched all five numbers and a star the game’s second-best prize of €270,238.94.
There were also 7 tickets that won €38,515.68 prizes.
The total prize money of the smaller awards amounts to over €20.04 million.
