Powerball lottery officials raised the estimated prize Wednesday, less than a day after another drawing without a winner increased the prize to $250 million.

Power Play 2X
Four tickets matched five numbers to win Powerball’s second prize. One of them, sold in South Carolina, included the optional Power Play 2X and is worth $2 million. The other three are $1 million tickets, they were sold in Missouri, Tennessee, Texas.
Twenty tickets matched four white balls plus the Power ball for the $50,000 third prize; 7 tickets are actually worth $100,000 each because they included the optional Power Play 2X.The odds of picking the correct Powerball grand prize numbers are one in 292,201,338. A total of 44 states, plus Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, that participate in Powerball. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Western time.
