No tickets matched the Powerball winning numbers Wednesday night, sending the lottery’s estimated Saturday jackpot to $1.23 Billion.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were 11, 38, 41, 62, 65, and red Powerball 15, the Power Play option was 3X.
No one matched all six numbers to win the Powerball jackpot, but 7 tickets (1 from Georgia, 1 from Maryland, 2 from Massachusetts, 1 from New Jersey, 1 from South Carolina, 1 from Washington) matched all five numbers except for the Powerball worth $1,000,000. 2 tickets worth $1,622,808 belonged to California players.
There are 52 third prizes of $50,000, and 12 third prizes (California) of $19,682; and 17 tickets won $150,000 prizes (Power Player 3X).
In total, more than 2,941,900 tickets won cash prizes totaling $25.7 million in Wednesday’s drawing.

If a player wins the jackpot on Saturday night, they will have the choice between an annuitized prize worth an estimated $1.23 Billion or a lump sum payment estimated at $595.1 million. Both prize options are before taxes. If the winner selects the annuity option, they will receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.
The Powerball prize keeps getting more massive because of the inability of anyone to overcome the long odds of 1 in 292.2 million and win the jackpot. To take the top prize, players must match all five white balls and one red Powerball.
