Ten tickets matched four white balls plus the Power ball for the $50,000 third prizes; four tickets are worth $150,000 each because they included the optional Power Play 3X, and one ticket is worth $56,942 bought in California.The odds of picking the correct Powerball grand prize numbers are one in 292,201,338. A total of 44 states, plus Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, that participate in Powerball. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Western time.
