One winning ticket was sold in OREGON for Saturday, March 06, 2024 night’s estimated $1.30 Billion Powerball jackpot, lottery officials said.

In all, 7 tickets (Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Wyoming) across the country matched all five white balls to win a $1,000,000 prize.
There were also 72 tickets nationwide that won $50,000 prizes, another 26 tickets won a $150,000 prize, and 9 tickets (California) won $36,225 prizes.
Wednesday’s Powerball drawing had more than 4,518,577 winning tickets overall and lower-tier cash prizes worth $43.2 million.

The lucky ticket holder will have the choice between an annuitized prize paid out in installments over 29 years of $1.30 Billion, or a lump-sum payment of $608.9 million, both before taxes, according to Powerball.
It’s the 4th largest Powerball jackpot and 8th largest U.S lottery jackpot ever won. In November 2022, the all-time record $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot sold a single winning ticket in California.

Before Saturday’s win, the jackpot had been swelling after rolling over for 43 consecutive drawings, since the last time someone won the top prize on Jan. 1, 2024.
