Powerball News – The Powerball jackpot drought stretched past nights as no tickets sold that matched all the winning numbers. That means the top prize for Saturday’s drawing grows to $128 million.

Two tickets match five numbers to win Powerball’s second prizes. One of them, sold in Georgia, included the optional Power Play 3X and is worth $2 million. The other $1 million ticket and it sold in Tennessee.
Ten tickets matched four white balls plus the Power ball for the $50,000 third prize; five tickets are worth $150,000 each because they included the optional Power Play 3X and two of $15,789 belonged to California players.
The odds of picking the correct Powerball grand prize numbers are one in 292,201,338. A total of 44 states, plus Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands that participate in Powerball. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Western time.
