No tickets matched the Mega Millions winning numbers Tuesday night, sending the lottery’s estimated Friday jackpot to $525 million.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were 5, 45, 55, 58, and 68, and yellow Mega Ball 7. The Megaplier was 2X.
No one across the country hit Tuesday’s $493 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold.
17 winners appeared to receive $10,000; 7 third prizes belonged to the owners who marked Megaplier 2X, which helped to multiply 2 times the prize value to $20,000; and 4 California players won $8,248.
The total prize money of the smaller awards amounts to over $4.22 million.
